Oh, Beatrix how I love you so.
You have become my one of my favorite lunch and brunch places!
Is it the plants that are hanging from the ceiling? Or perhaps the fresh squeezed juice cocktails that speak to me so?

Basically, everything about Beatrix is pure gold. One of my fave parts about this lovely restaurant is the fact that you can do reservations on Open Table. I don’t know if that means anything to most of you- but my Type A’s out there, it means the most.
Also, reservations are KEY here especially when the squad is hungover from the night before and you can corner them with reservations and delicious food. @ my new Chicago squad.
SO the this was one of my must hits due to the healthier menu options, I’ve mentioned before I tend to eat as healthy as I can during breakfast and lunch so I don’t feel so guilty about enjoying pasta or whatever for dinner.
My first dining experience here I had lunch and enjoyed the best crispy kale salad of my life and their vegan tomato soup. Both were amazing and if you decide not to drink with lunch like I often do, (oops) then it’s a rather inexpensive place to dine.

My second time visiting, we had split the lemon pancakes for the table and OH MY GOD, they were the pancakes of my dreams. Light, fluffy, crispy and not overly sweet. They killed it. My girlfriend has the egg pot roast sandwhich- which was amazing but she would recommend getting the eggs over easy instead of scrambled. & my other girlfriend had the egg white sandwich.

I HAD (which was the best out of all, in my opinion) the spicy chicken tinga. Dishes like this one are the reason why I brunch. It was perfect until I proceeded to leave my leftovers at benchmark later that day…

Drinks: The bloody is the perfect amount of spicy and thick so totally try it. The Rose All Day is the perfect way to start any day, I also had the blueberry collins **sub gin and it was refreshing and delightful.

Please, do yourself a favor. Get to Beatrix.
