New Restaurant alert!

KAWA RAMEN AND SUSHI. SO GOOD.

My long time bestie Lauren was in town visiting me so naturally I had to show off and take her to the new sushi/ramen joint that opened up about two weeks ago.

The vibes in this place are cute and modern. We both had a lychee sour, so tasty. A lychee has the texture of a peeled grape but tastes like a peach/pear. Google it.

We ordered three rolls- (from the bottom going up) the White Swan, Crazy Tuna and the Green Bay. I couldn’t tell you which one was my favorite because they were all so good. I would go as far to say this was the best sushi in Milwaukee.

We also had ramen… how I love ramen. Everything about ramen is wonderful to me. The Tokotsu Ramen was the kind we had. With a yummy pork belly broth what’s not to love?

This place also brings back such nostalgic memories for me since it’s located in the old Two Bucks area hehe.

Go my friends, you won’t be disappointed.

  1. I’m a regular goer of Yokohama and was interested in trying Kawa out! You have completely convinced me! Also, Lychee is my absolute favorite fruit, and if you like the flavor, you will have to check out Lucky Ginger on Water Street in the Third Ward and have a Lychee Mohito. I promise you wont be disappointed.
