More Italian please…

Ugh you guys!

Milwaukee has been getting crazy with the new Italian restaurants lately. And since Italian is my favorite food, you knowwww that’s right up my alley.

So a few months ago during the first week Dorsia on Brady Street had been open, I had dinner with my gal pals there and we got the VIP treatment.

Not only was our server Todd amazing, the food was equally amazing too. We had started off with the calamari (crispy and lightly breaded, yum) and then a cheese board. **I should actually just make a list of the best cheese boards in MKE because really it’s one of my fave things out there. And Dorsia’s cheeseboard was delightful.

Followed by the PASTA FLIGHT. In all the places I have been in my lifetime, I have never even thought of the day where I would be introduced to a pasta flight. So the scoop on that is you can pick as little as three pastas that come out on a wooden board. Ugh, just so amazing! What an amazing way to discover different types of pasta so you’re not just limited to just one. I had the bucatini, beet campanelle and the bolognese. The bolognese was my favorite by far.

So after stuffing our faces with pasta and appetizers our amazing server bought us a bottle of malbec AND all three of their desserts. Like that’s what love is, right? The Meyer lemon ricotta cheesecake was our favorite. Hands down best cheesecake I have ever had.

10/10 would recommend Dorsia.

On a side note- went there for dinner again last night and had the chicken parmesan (which was new to the list from my first visit) and it was SO good.
