The other night I had the pleasure of trying out the new Neapolitan style Pizzaeria, San Giorgio with my girl Erika.
Wow this place blows it out of the water. They are the ONLY authentic VPN certified Neapolitan style pizza joint in the city. What that means is the pizza is cooked in a super hot wood burning oven using Neapolitan tomatoes and flour for the dough. So delicious.
If you’re lucky, you will get a chance to sit up at the special pizza bar where you can actually watch them make your pizza like I did, best seat in the house in my opinion.
We had a few glasses of vino and shared a pie (Prosciutto e Rucola) and the specialty pasta of the night.
Oh, and we also got dessert. Best cannoli I’ve ever had. The ambiance, service and food were all outstanding. A new favorite to this foodie.
